It all began way, way back in 1984 Ii began my career in the fi eld of dynamometer and engine testing when after years of gutfeeling and study I realized that the there is a need for a book on dynamometer and its application to engine testing. As automotive and dynamometer industry is growing worldwide the concern eventually became so great I felt a book devoted to the subject was warranted. The book Dynamometer- Theory and Application to Engine Testing is book dedicated to various dynamometers and how they are applied to engine testing. The book also discusses the essentials of modern test cell and the instrumentation, data acquisition system and other accessories that are employed in modern test cell. After having worked in the fi eld of industrial compressors, pumps, material handling equipment, dynamometer fi eld and software industry I decided to write this book which will help the people working in the automotive industry, engine and vehicle testing, people working in the dynamometer and instrumentation industry and electrical motor industry. The book will be of interest to the students of mechanical an automobile engineering. The book will of great value to the incumbents entering in the automotive and dynamometer fi elds. Excellent Book on the Engine Testing

I started my career with Mr. Jyotindra Killedar at Saj Froude , Pune, India in 1985 and worked with him for 5 years till 1990. He is an expert in Dynamometer field, his understanding of Engine testing systems and Automotive industry is very good. He was my mentor and I learned a lot from him in my initial years of career.
I am very happy he has written this book " Dynamometer : Theory and Application to Engine Testing" , he is one of the top authority in the world to write on this subject. I am sure this book will be of great help to all people who are involved with Dynamometers and Engine Testing field.

I have known Mr Jyotindra Killedar since last five years. I know him to be an expert in the subject matter and a treal authority on dynamometer and engine testing. The Book is the outcome of his vast experience in the subject, the product of years of experience and research. I am sure that the book will be of immense value to the automotive professionals as well as students of the Automobile engineering. I have personally enjoyed many sections of the book, notably the information on sensors and transducers used in the process of testing and measuring of different kinds of parameters.

Nicky Cruz turned his back on the devil in the 1960s when he was converted from his life as a New York gang leader. Even though he is now free from the devil's control, Nicky knows the devil is still at work deceiving others.

Nicky has noticed a disturbing trend within the church in recent years. “...Christians are becoming more and more ignorant about – and apathetic toward – the threat posed by the devil.” (124) We have forgotten we have an enemy. We are unaware of his schemes. We are no longer a threat to the devil and his wicked plans.

Nicky wants to change that and this book is his wake up call to Christians. The devil is real and active, Nicky reminds us. “Satan must be unmasked,” he writes. “He is not a harmless caricature or a myth left over from humanity's primitive past...He's a real being – and the most awful one we could imagine.” (17)

Nicky shares what he has seen and experienced in his fifty years battling the works of the devil. He shares his own fights with demons and how we might be attacked, the devil's disguises, and demon oppression. We will never escape the attacks of the devil, not until heaven. But knowing his tactics will help us be better prepared to fight, to understand the limits of his influence and our authority, and to have confidence in the Lord's ability to defeat evil.

The Lord is great and powerful and active on our behalf. We must remember that the devil is already defeated. Nicky shares many encouraging stories of victory over the devil. God is still very much at work doing miracles.

This is a book that Christians need to read. We have gotten complacent in our spiritual warfare and Nicky brings us back to the reality of our enemy. But he doesn't leave us helpless. He helps us understand spiritual warfare and the resources God has given us for the battle.

Mr. Cruz has written his book since Run Baby Run (which is must read as well, especially for this generation). The Devil Has No Mother is full of stories and examples of how the devil (yes he's real) tricks us as believers, how he attacks us. But Nicky Cruz also tells how to win the battle with the power that is ours through Jesus. We are not left alone to fight. The church is under attack by satan and this book helps us to know how to fight. Get it today and read for yourself this powerful book!

About the Author
In 1966 Jean-Pierre Garnier Malet, a young student of physics, surprised the scientific community with the publication of an article for the Paris Academy of Sciences. He made an astonishing discovery related to the properties of time in 1988. His theory about the doubling of time, published between 1998 and 2006, has provided many scientific premises. This theory, also and more importantly, allows us to understand the mechanism of life, of our thoughts and to make the best possible use of our intuitions, instincts and foresight that this doubling makes available to us at each moment.

Mr.Malet i will like to thank you for this book. I can attest my prayer has been answered! I read change your future through time openings and understood it somewhat. A native english speaker should have edited the translation

I should be giving this book a 5 star review because the content merits it. However, the translation makes it a stop and go feeling; meaning that you get into a flow of a few sentences, and then you have to stop and re-read some sentences to get a sense of what's going on.

This is a story of an adult talking to a child about very important and relevant wellbeing concepts - but the flow is just not there - bumber! This book should have been handed over to a native english speaker for review.

I am not used to reading books that make me snigger out loud, but in Drama Queen Joe Cosentino has struck a great balance between his use of tongue in cheek humour and a compelling mystery which we want to see solved.
Everything about this story is over-the-top from the very stylised characters to Nicky's descriptions of his daily routine to the amount of murders! For me, Drama Queen is a mix between Miss Marple, Cluedo and Columbo! I regularly smiled as one minute I would picture Nicky and Noah as Robert Downey-Junior's Sherlock and Jude Law's Watson, and the next both clad in the classic tweed of Agatha Christie's female detective!
If there are times that Joe Cosentino wants us to take the story seriously, then I think we miss this - although he definitely makes us work hard before we reach the 'big reveal'. What I mean here is that the plot is fairly involved and at times several characters blur into one another, or we wonder what their significance actually is. Although I enjoyed this story, for these reasons I could not have finished it in one-sitting.
Nicky and Noah are a cute couple and their romance certainly added an element to Drama Queen though at times I felt that the story would have been just as good without it.
Nicky is definitely a lead character in his own production and that is why he work's so well as the story's narrator.
Drama Queen is unconventional. but clever, and Joe Cosentino has worked hard to ensure that his reader will enjoy his story!

Fast paced, hilariously funny, entertaining novel

College theatre professor Nicky Abbondanza has a mystery on his hands as a murderer sets his sights on the college campus of Treemeadow College. Nicky has a huge crush on the prime suspect, Noah Oliver, an assistant professor whose tenure has been stymied by two of the victims. With the body count rising, Nicky teams up with Noah to find a killer before its lights out for Nicky and his colleges. This fast-pace, hilariously funny, entertaining novel will have you on the edge of your seat as you try to figure out who-dun-it!

I absolutely loved this book. Nicky is a professor in the drama department at Treemeadow College. He’s been harboring a crush on assistant professor Noah Oliver since they met, but never acts upon it because Noah always has some graduate assistant hanging around suggesting he may, or may not, already be in a relationship. When Noah is up for tenure, the professors opposing his tenure begin dropping like flies. When the police hit a brick wall in trying to solve this case, they call upon Nicky and Noah to use their drama skills to find a killer.

This book is told from the point of view of Nicky…meaning we are privy to his private thoughts which are quite humorous considering many of these thoughts initially focus on his giant penis and his crush on Noah. As the murder victims start piling up, Nicky thinks of himself as a “Sherlock Holmes” as he tries to unravel the mystery.

For me, this book was a hit because it combined a bit of mystery with some romance and a heavy scoop of drama. The mystery took me on a journey with plenty of twists and turns and left me questioning who the murderer was. The romance portion was cute and sexy all rolled into one. While Nicky and Noah eventually end up in bed together, the scenes fit the story’s pace and are glossed over. As for the drama, this book has drama on every page…and for those of us who appreciate the theatre; there is plenty of behind the scenes happenings!

As you head out to the pool or the beach, bring along Drama Queen for an entertaining read featuring two gay drama professors as they try to solve the murders of their colleagues before the murderer decides to drop the curtain on them. I highly recommend!

Interesting mystery/farce!

This was between 3.5 and 4 stars for me.

Nicky is a college professor of Theater at Treemeadow College. He's helping to direct the term play when the bodies begin to drop. Professors are stabbed and poisoned, and the police are stymied, so Nicky teams up with the prime suspect, fellow prof Noah, whose application for tenure had been bashed by at least two of the dead...

I liked the spins this book took, with lots of blind alleys and wrong turns, but I had trouble with the pacing. It seemed like the story was on fast-forward, which left me little time to absorb the humor--or revel in the romance.

Nicky and Noah have desired each other, but Nicky doesn't want to compromise Noah's tenure...until two profs are dead--then it's full steam ahead. Why? I wondered. The cast of the book is eclectic and fun, with spirited antics though I felt the characters were sometimes caricatures, and I had some trouble with the trivialized treatment of mental illness in the story.

When it comes to a mystery, I want a story that unfurls revealing breadcrumbs. In Nicky and Noah's investigations, I felt like the interviews with suspects were too coy, too revealing. A large portion of the narrative relies on eavesdropping and spy-witness, which was less effective as a plot device, due to the giant coincidences, for me.

Truth be told, the murdered profs were generally scoundrels who were rather nasty. I didn't miss them. But I needed more of Nicky and Noah, and their fledgling relationship, to keep me interested. At times I felt like the story was a bit farcical, almost like watching the old movies CLUE or UNDER THE RAINBOW from when I was a kid, so I had a little nostalgia factor growing, but the pacing and coincidence threw me off.

It's a pretty quick read, with a teeny bit of sexytimes, and has a wry humor that I wanted to appreciate more.

Hilarious! a quick and easy read.

The author has a real talent for sharing the misguided behaviors and attitudes that occur in various gym settings, which are expounded upon in a twisted and hilarious fashion. It's a fast and easy read. I definitely recommend it for experienced "gym rats" or even you have never been to a gym before, but you might not immediately connect the dots on some of the humor until you been there a while, then you will easily pick out the humor of the characters illustrated throughout this book.

PS: There is absolutely nothing wrong with doing curls in a squat rack!
